Why Intervention?

Intervention saves lives. It is a proven approach to help interrupt and address the addictive cycle. Intervention is a sound process with a 90% success rate.

Pre-Intervention

At this time an assessment is conducted with a skilled, professional facilitator to determine what course of action is appropriate for your situation. This is the first step we take to prepare all who need to be involved. If distance is a concern for some individuals, conference calls can be utilized to include those individuals.

Rehearsal

Our rehearsal is a time to prepare and process the many feelings that accompany the act of love that translates through the intervention. We remain focused and committed to preserving the dignity of the addicted person while building trust that our next step will bring the opportunity for positive change.

Intervention

The intervention is a structured, solution-focused process. It gives the family and loved ones an opportunity to present observations and concerns regarding the addict's behavior in a caring, objective and non-judgmental manner. The intervention is designed to help the identified person acknowledge destructive behaviors and accept treatment. If the individual accepts help, he or she is immediately escorted to an appropriate treatment facility.

Post-Intervention

While interventions can be intense, the family will receive continued support. Guidance will be provided to continue moving the family in a positive direction.
